EXPERIENCE REPORT:
Below is an experience report from a former participant:
I don’t regret attending the Creighton Summer Law School in Nuremberg for a single second; my new friends and I had a wonderful time. In addition to the fascinating topics covered (I highly recommend Michael Bryant’s lecture on “The Impact and Legacy of the Holocaust”), I found the personal interactions with the American students particularly enriching. I will never forget watching the European Championship together and the karaoke night, in particular. There were also opportunities to go to a café after class or have a beer in the evening with the American professors and engage in fascinating conversations.
If you’re interested in the U.S. beyond just the law, this is the perfect place for you.
Extra tip: If you’re able to participate in the study trip to The Hague, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity as part of the Creighton Summer Law School to get to know the American students even before the “official” start of the summer school.
