The ICLU is delighted to announce the workshop “Brave New World? Artificial Intelligence in Legal Studies, Teaching and Practice“, co-organised with our service unit “Lehre und Studienberatung“. The event offers a unique opportunity to explore the role and influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the legal field.

The programme includes an inspiring keynote speech by Dr Christina-Maria Leeb (Bavarian State Ministry of Justice) on the use of AI and legal tech in the judiciary, a panel discussion on the admissibility of AI in exam situations, and presentations on various applications of AI in the legal context. We will also conduct working groups that deal with the concrete use of AI in undergraduate and graduate studies, teaching and legal practice.

Our event is aimed at students (undergraduate and graduate) and lecturers in law as well as interested legal practitioners. Undergraduate students of our department can have their participation recognised as a key qualification pursuant to Section 2 of the JAPO.
